[midPoint] Retro change log on ds389

Hello everybody,

one small question - in the configuration examples for DS 389 Directory 
Server, it is recommended to enable the "Retro Changelog":
https://wiki.evolveum.com/display/midPoint/389+Directory+Server+Configuration

"Retro" sounds to me as something very old and the Wiki entry is 5 years old 
or so. So I am asking myself is it necessary to enable this plugin nowadays 
in current ds 389 versions?
