[midPoint] Normal mapping being applied on Reconcile

Hello list,

Very simple situation: We have a user that we need to override one field
value (fullName)
We edited its value in midPoint, and it worked OK.
However, reconciling the user is putting the original value back in it,
even though the mapping that produces the value is strength NORMAL and
tolerant is TRUE.
I thought normal mappings were applied only on deltas, how can this be?
Using midPoint 3.9
