Dear midPoint community,

Another year is almost over. This was a year unlike any other. The world
is struggling. Yet, there were also good things in 2020. We are trying
to look ahead, keeping our spirits high. There have been numerous
achievements during this year, and many reasons to be thankful.

We have worked hard in 2020. We have released midPoint 4.1
<https://evolveum.com/midpoint-4-1-pasteur/> and 4.2
<https://evolveum.com/midpoint-4-2-maxwell/>, excelled our first project
funded by the European community
<https://evolveum.com/data-provenance-prototype-is-finished/>, started a
big set of scalability improvements
<https://evolveum.com/introducing-midscale/> and done a lot of other
good things that won’t all fit into a short blog post.

However, the most important thing is that we have all survived this year
and we have supported each other. We can still enjoy the support of you,
midPoint community, which makes me very grateful. None of our
achievements would be possible without your support.

In recognition of that, while being heavily influenced by Christmas
atmosphere, we have brought you some presents. There is a new addition
to our book <https://docs.evolveum.com/book/>, we have brought you
midPoint videos
<https://evolveum.com/holiday-season-gift-from-evolveum-to-watch-and-learn/>
and we have released MidPoint Studio
<https://evolveum.com/holiday-season-gift-from-evolveum-midpoint-studio/>.

We still have one more gift for you. We would like to bring some joy and
entertainment, something that is desperately needed in these times.

I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you
once again for all your support and encouragement. We are looking
forward to meet you again in 2021.
