[midPoint] Digital Signatures for Authentication

Does anyone have a working example of using a client certificate (or for that matter any external authenticator) for authentication in 3.7.1? 

I imagine it would look someone like the integration at https://wiki.evolveum.com/display/midPoint/MidPoint+and+SSO+HOWTO <https://wiki.evolveum.com/display/midPoint/MidPoint+and+SSO+HOWTO>

but it seem to be a bit out of date (the ctx-web-security.xml file doesn’ exist and ctx-web-security-cas.xml doesn’t contain the lines mentioned in the docs).
