[midPoint] Reset password by email - REST API?

Hi everyone,
is there any way to consume the functionality from our own front-end?

Basically, a way to call an API to "request" (generate nonce and send
email) and then to "use" (validate user with nonce and allow her/him to
reset own password).

Additional to control the UI, we want to avoid exposing the midpoint server
publicly to internet.
