[midPoint] Not able to assign any of the resource if Connector Host is down

Hi,

I have a connector host and ad resource configured in midpoint system, I am
facing an issue with midpoint that if the connector host is down(not
reachable ), I am not able to assign any account to user.


Observation :-


   - I want to assign an ldap account to user
   - I open the user details page and click on Assign Account, instead of
   showing the available resource, I see an error page with following error:
      - Generic connector error for the resource:ad-group-provisioning(AD
      Group Provisioning): Failed to init remote connection to
{host=10.1.10.25,
      port=8759}.
   - Basically midpoint system fails and i am not able to assign any
   resource to user.


As per my observation we have newly configured this resource shown in error
('ad-group-provisioning') and the schema is not being populated yet. So
that might be the reason of failure but as per my understanding system
should not fail and it should display other resources at least.


It looks like its a *bug*. If one connector server is down or connector is
not configured correctly it should not affect other resources which are not
relevant that connector server.
