[midPoint] Custom schema extension help

Hi Ivan,

I just installed a new vm with fresh installation of everything and the problem continued being there.
Then after spending some time getting nowhere I downloaded https://svn.evolveum.com/midpoint/trunk/samples/schema/extension-piracy.xsd, put it in the folder and it magically worked.
After comparing the the content with what was on the wiki I found that the sample on page https://wiki.evolveum.com/display/midPoint/Custom+Schema+Extension has an old/faulty "c" namespace. It should be common-2a instead of common-2.
This should be changed.

https://wiki.evolveum.com/dosearchsite.action?queryString=common-2 shows that there are a few more pages with the namespace.
Maybe there could be others with old namespaces as well?

Thanks you for all the help you provided,

Remi

Subject: Re: [midPoint] Custom schema extension help

Hi,

so I've doublechecked it in 2.1.1 (Version: 2.1.1, build: 5238):

1. downloaded midpoint 2.1.1
2. created /opt/midpoint-configuration2
3. started tomcat with deployed midpoint.war and configured
midpoint.home to the above directory: JAVA_OPTS="-XX:MaxPermSize=256m
-Xms256m -Xmx1280m -Dmidpoint.home=/opt/midpoint-configuration2"
4. waited to start. Checked the H2 files and various directories - they
were created
5. stopped midpoint
6. copied my .xsd file to /opt/midpoint-configuration2/schema
7. started midpoint again (custom schemas need restart)
8. checked New user - my custom attributes are displayed on the left
side, in the "Extension" container

Are you doing anything else/different?

Regards,
I.
