<p>I think there may be something wrong with your setup, because
MidPoint Studio knows about midPoint definitions by default.</p>

<p>For example, I have just created a new "midPoint" project
(test123), and created user.xml with the following content:</p>

<p>As you can see, xmlns declaration is green. I can even click on
(e.g.) givenName and I am redirected at the correct place in the
schema.</p>

<p>Maybe you have something broken in your midPoint project or IDEA
or Studio installation.</p>
<p>Vilo Repáň would be perhaps able to tell you more. Anyway, until
he's here, you may try going from scratch - it should really work.</p>
<p>For the completeness, I have IDEA 2022.1.3 Ultimate and Studio
4.5.0-snapshot-285. But I am sure this have been working for quite
a long time.</p>
