<div dir="ltr">It is in annotation under <documentation> and not really <help> for all object types it looks like. I am not on 3.9 yet but would rather not have all that info displayed to users either. Maybe there is a setting in config to override or turn off? A developer would know, spinning up a docker instance to check myself and see. <div><br></div><div><a href="https://github.com/Evolveum/midpoint/blob/1c1975fa450bbee741314c2822c5715ebf68f6b2/infra/schema/src/main/resources/xml/ns/public/common/common-core-3.xsd#L3914" target="_blank">https://github.com/Evolveum/midpoint/blob/1c1975fa450bbee741314c2822c5715ebf68f6b2/infra/schema/src/main/resources/xml/ns/public/common/common-core-3.xsd#L3914</a> </div><div> <br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr" class="m_-9203584552836415406gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><br></div></div></div><br></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, May 15, 2019 at 8:46 AM Brad Firestone <<a href="mailto:bhotrock@gmail.com" target="_blank">bhotrock@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">I know how to set the "help" text for a custom extension schema <br>

hide, or modify the default help text for standard attributes such as <br>

"Full name of the user with all decorations....."<br>

I started with 3.5 or 3.6 and I don't think it included all of these <br>
help texts. But a new install of 3.9 has them for many, if not all <br>
attributes. Since these descriptions are very "developer" oriented, I'd <br>
like to either hide or edit them.<br>

I tried to add <help>Test text</help> to the User Object Template, but <br>
that's not allowed. I'm probably missing something obvious.<br>
Thanks for any suggestions!<br>
