Hello Guys,<br><br>we have connected midpoint to an active directory.<br>
<br>We are able to create an account by a role. We also succeeded to create a group G (in ad) linked to a role M (meta role in midpoint) which itself is assigned to another role S (midpoint).<br>
On assigning the meta role M to the role S, the group G is created in the ad. The configuration of the role M is that way (using inducements of 2nd order)<br>
that we are also able to associate a user to this group G (and creating its account in the ad of course) by assigning the role S to the user (midpoint).<br>
What we did not achieve is to automatically create (additionally and prior creating the association of group and account) the group G by assigning the role S to the user.<br>
<br>Are we right, that the creation on the resource (account or group) is always associated with the act of the assignment in midpoint (and therefor creating the<br>
projection at the concerned focus object)? So understandably the group<br>
is not created since the projection creation in midpoint does not happen because the association of role M to S is not done (already present, but projection not;<br>
by the way we achieve this state for example if role M and S are imported in this assigned state).<br>
<br>So what could be the solution? I would think of create such a role construction that on assignment to the user two projections are created for him:<br>
first one creates (ensures the presence of) the group and second creates the account and associates. But how will be defined the assignment (or inducement)<br>
for the group creation, since the name of the group should (of course) not be the name of the user... ?<br>
