Hi Samu,

just a blind shot as I don't use WS: could you please share the
credentials mapping in your db resource?

Thanks,

Hello,

I have noticed a problem which I don't seem to get my head
around. I am implementing midPoint next to an application. We
are planning to create midPoint users directly into midPoint
from the application via the WS Model Interface (instead of
syncing from db). I have managed to make this work to a certain
extent. When I change the password of a midPoint user via the
Web Service, it is not propagated to our database resource.
However, when I change the password directly in midPoint, it
works as intended. So is there something i need to know when
dealing with the midPoint password through the Web Service
Interface? We use a custom database connector, but it should
work correctly since creating users from midPoint GUI works.

I attempted to debug our application and midPoint, but no errors
whatsoever can be found. I also eyeballed the logs from a GUI
update vs. our WS call. They seem to be quite identical in terms
data.

All I can think of is that there could be additional measures
that must be performed when dealing with the password. (In
addition to just a normal executeChanges operation)?

Best Regards
