If you assign a role to user and then edit and change the assignment
valid from/to, it should either remove the account or disable it
based on the resource configuration (by default remove).<br>

Can you be more specific for your case?<br>
Has this user more roles or just the one you are trying to
invalidate?<br>

Can you also try to disable the assignment by using Assignment's
administrative status = disabled instead of valid from/to?<br>
