-Dmidpoint.home=/home/stagiair/Desktop/midpoint/"<br>
It has created files and folders in my midpoint.home so I think
this is not the issue.<br>

This looks ok to me. Just FYI this is my directory:<br>

My Tomcat is running as vix, so the file is readable.<br>
My midpoint.home is obviously set to /opt/midpoint-configuration<br>

I am using the 2.1.1 distribution if that would be of use.</div>
