Looking at https://docs.evolveum.com/midpoint/reference/support-4.9/concepts/matching-rules/#known-matching-rules I'm surprised that there are no regex-based matching rules mentioned. Is it really not possible to use regular expressions in MQL? Or just something missing in the docs?
Postgres supports regex (https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/functions-matching.html#FUNCTIONS-POSIX-REGEXP), so I would expect that to find a corresponding matching rule in MQL as well...
