[midPoint] Sending signed/encrypted email from midPoint

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have experience sending cryptographically signed and encrypted emails from midPoint? We are currently evaluating an RfI where one of the questions is whether email notifications can be encrypted.

Ideally, it would be possible to use S/MIME to sign and encrypt any email sent from midPoint. I could not find anything in the documentation, but maybe someone has encountered this requirement before and knows how to implement this.
