[midPoint] Assignments in inbound mappings are recreated on change

Hello List,

Our inbound mapping currently generates multiple org assignments (from a single string) that have extension attributes and activations, we are using the script/code expressions.

When any value of the assignments is updated (e.g., activation/validTo date,  extension/jobtitle) by the inbound mapping, the entire assignment is removed from the user, and a new assignment with the updated values is created. This process is causing issues downstream.

Is there a way to modify the behavior or a workaround so that only the assignment fields are updated without recreating the entire assignment?
