Hi Lothar,
another approach could be to use the HR LDAP Export possibility to export the HR-data into a meta directory (e.g. openLdap or somehing like that) and connect that resource as LDAP backend. Not very nice, but perhaps a way to start without immediately developing a connector.

thanks a lot, the connector you mention is used to manage R/3 user accounts (those you need to log into the application, but cannot access the HCM data (personnel numbers, organizational hierarchy, cost center structure etc.)
Looks like we'll have to write our own connector then (csv ex-/imports are not meeting our demands at all, unfortunately).
