[midPoint] Midpoint used for data manipulation

Would like to know whether somebody at least tried to use Midpoint as framework for "ETL tool" for cleanup, manipulation and unification of data.
Know it is not what Midpoint was developed and designed for, but its opennes make it usable beyond the scope of IdM.
