[midPoint] Syncronization/reconcilation question

Greetings,

I'm setting up Midpoint 4.4.1 with Active Directory as a resource. How does
the reconciliation and synchronization processes work with accounts that
are in AD but not in Midpoint? Does Midpoint ignore any accounts that
aren't linked to users in Midpoint?
