[midPoint] Automate assignment to groups (roles)

Hello,
I was trying to synchronize AD groups along with membership to some other resource.

The metarole option is working fine. But this process is manual, so not feasible for large number of users.

I want that whenever a user is imported into midpoint, it should automatically get assigned to a role corresponding to the group it is member of.

Is there any example, how to do this?
