[midPoint] Extending MetadataType

Hi,
just wondering if anyone has tried extending the schema of MetadataType to allow information like ServiceNow request Id to be written when creating objects such as roles or services. My idea would be to read the request Id in a hook after the object has been created and close the task in servicenow. Metadata seems to be the correct place for me, rather than in the object itself like ServiceType or RoleType.
