Hi David,
I still haven't seen your HR resource configuration XML file, but when I was implementing I had the same problem and hit my head a little kkk You can leave the "*.csv" file anywhere or name, just point correctly, below is the configuration.
<connectorConfiguration xmlns:icfc="http://midpoint.evolveum.com/xml/ns/public/connector/icf-1/connector-schema-3">
<icfc:configurationProperties xmlns:gen53="http://midpoint.evolveum.com/xml/ns/public/connector/icf-1/bundle/com.evolveum.polygon.connector-csv/com.evolveum.polygon.connector.csv.CsvConnector">
<gen53:multivalueDelimiter>;</gen53:multivalueDelimiter>
<gen53:fieldDelimiter>,</gen53:fieldDelimiter>
<gen53:filePath>/opt/midpoint/var/resources/rh.csv</gen53:filePath>
<gen53:encoding>utf-8</gen53:encoding>
<gen53:passwordAttribute>password</gen53:passwordAttribute>
<gen53:uniqueAttribute>username</gen53:uniqueAttribute>
</icfc:configurationProperties>
</connectorConfiguration>
The item:
<gen53:filePath>/opt/midpoint/var/resources/rh.csv</gen53:filePath>
You will enter the full path of your file. The other parameters I also sent because they can help in some way.
And yes, there has to be a CSV file with read permission for the linux account that runs midpoint. I hope I have answered your question =D

Hello,
I woud like to ask how to fix this error.
When I want to change file path in edit configuration and test the connection, it always throws this error : Configuration error: File 'pathToFile/file' doesn't exists. At least file with CSV header must exist.
I tried many paths, there are some examples :
/opt/midpoint/var/resources/hr.csv, /opt/midpoint/var/hr.csv
I also tried my Dmidpoint.home path. But I keep getting the same error.
Is there any specific path that I must use to make it work ? Or am I typing the path in an incorrect format ?
Thanks for help !
