[midPoint] AD User Import Task - Duration Issue

Hi Pavel,

Thanks for the information.
After looking at other performances information I figured my problem with the import and it was (once again) pretty dumb..

I used connector server to connect my AD. And this connector server was installed as Windows services.. but was only able to use 500MB of ram. Once I allowed up to 6GB of ram ( By changing parameters on JAVA_OPT_SERVER in the ConnectorServer.bat file ) it was much faster ( throughput: 37 user per minutes)

Thanks for the information Pavel. I didn’t tought about the internal performance tab.. Although the name is pretty explicit 😉
I can see that com.evolveum.midpoint.provisioning.api.ProvisioningService.searchObjectsIterative and  com.evolveum.midpoint.provisioning.ucf.api.ConnectorInstance.search take a big amount of time ( 1860897ms each)

Any idea of possible cause?

Hello Loïc,

midPoint has a couple of tools to help you with this. When you open the task, there is "Environmental Performance" and "Internal Performance" tabs that could you give some clues where the problem is.
