[midPoint] [External] Ellucian Banner

I set up a Doodle poll to see if there is enough interest to schedule a meeting.  Please visit https://doodle.com/poll/uk9r9dk8cdbay8vw and pick some times when you are available.

If we get enough interest in a particular time, I will set up a meeting in Zoom.  The first agenda will be to meet every one, pick a permanent time for future meetings and to get a brief description of the status of IAM at your school.

Goal: develop a standard way to connect Banner too Grouper and midPoint.

To add to that... we use the scripted sql connector with Banner views. This is our fix while I make a connector. It's nothing special but I'd be happy to share. Thanks.

I too work for a university using Banner. I do have plans to make an Ethos REST connector. We use Blackboard as well, so I will be making a connector for that too. I'm happy to help out where I can. I'm sure we can all help each other here :)

Quick question and feel free to contact me directly for follow-up.

Has a driver for Midpoint to Ellucian Banner been created yet?  I know a working group with Internet2 and the TIER program was setup and I have read much of the notes from that group, but I wasn't sure where that left off or if this is still being worked on.  I am not sure if anyone from the original working group would be able to provide a good answer?  Ideally if a driver has been or is being worked on that would integrate with Ethos that would be ideal (or whatever the new integration tool is if Ethos is no longer a thing).
