It woudn't. But the task page is very old, and it makes no sense to 
invest even a small effort in it. That would be a throw-away work. The 
page needs to be reworked to reuse the same components as other pages. 
That is the cost of midPoint evolution: old code needs to be reworked 
and improved all the time. And that is quite a big effort overall.
