[midPoint] Password Policy - change password from within mP after expiration

Hello

I found various tickets on this one like
https://jira.evolveum.com/browse/MID-630 but no actual solution or snippet.

I want to give users with an exeeded password the possibility to change
it at the next login. How can I realize this? What Password Policy Rules
will handle this?

This UseCase is quite difficult by security means because I cannot just
send a random password for this user via email because this transmission
could be corrupted.

Did anyone worked with the security-questions sent via email and
triggered after password-expiration?
