Hi,

Thanks for your prompt replies...

I'm running java_1.6.0_20 on Windows 7 with downloaded JCE policy files
and Tomcat 6.0.35... My JCP files are exactly the same size as yours.

I did restart the Tomcat, unless the scripts are misworking on Cygwin,
I'll try to use the windows services manager...

thanks,
dwd

Hi,

yes this looks like a JCE problem.
Which Java are you using for Tomcat? And which Tomcat version?
Have you restarted Tomcat after JCE installation?

I'm running Java 1.6.0_26 (ubuntu package) with downloaded JCE policy
files, and Tomcat 6.0.32, this configuration works.

For reference, these libraries (file sizes) on Ubuntu:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2465 2011-12-16 10:00 US_export_policy.jar
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2481 2011-12-16 10:00 local_policy.jar

I am certain that it's a problem with the JCP files, but I did install
them all in the /lib/security directory of the JRE inside the JDK.

Can anyone hint any solution to me?

Regards,
Ivan
