  Clean up repo tests (MID-3483)

Disabled tests in ModifyTest were fixed and enabled. Some other
disabled tests were enabled; irrelevant ones were removed.

Some other disabled tests were kept intact, as they are to be
used occasionally.

However, a more deep cleanup would be still helpful - eventually.
