[midPoint] Conditional Tolerant Mapping

Has anyone attempted to configure a mapping that is conditionally tolerant
(if that's possible)? The use case is an attribute set outside of Midpoint,
we would like it to persist until criteria is met in Midpoint at which the
attribute would then be cleared.
